To meet the requirements to graduate, all students in the Exeter Township School District will want to complete at least 30 hours of community service with a non-profit agency, religious group or school organization. In addition to these local agencies who routinely work with ETSH students, the United Way of Berks County offers a calendar packed with volunteer opportunities, as well as a search tool that will filter opportunities by your interests, location, skills and more.
At Exeter, you can also find plenty of opportunities to fulfill community service hours through school clubs, athletics or in the music department.
All community service hours should be tracked, completed and approved by an on-site supervisor. Upon completion of the community service, please complete this form, and submit it electronically here or deliver your form to your school counselor. Students can begin their community service requirement as early as the summer before 9th grade and should have their hours complete and forms returned to their counselor no later than the end of the third marking period of their senior year.
