Immaculata University will offer coursework for those seeking a Principal Certificate or Reading Specialist Certificate on campus at Exeter Township School District in early 2025. Those enrolled in the program can finish their coursework in fewer than two years. Classes will be offered in seven-week sessions with both online asynchronous and in-person instruction on Exeter’s campus. Those who complete the certification program are able to apply their credits earned towards an M.A. in Educational Leadership.
“Exeter is thrilled to partner with Immaculata University to bring its rich academic program in educational leadership to Berks County, making it accessible for teachers living and working here in Berks County and beyond,” said Dr. Christy Haller, superintendent of Exeter Township School District. “We believe this partnership will offer convenience and ease for those seeking either a principal or reading specialist certification–both of which are high-demand positions in districts today.”
Immaculata will offer an informational session on Tuesday, October 8 at 4PM at the Exeter Township Lausch Administration Building, located at 200 Elm Street, Reading, PA 19606. They will also offer an online virtual session on Thursday, October 17 at 4PM.
